Srinagar police on Saturday said that 10 persons were arrested for trying to vitiate a peaceful atmosphere outside the Jamia Masjid in Nowhatta after Friday prayers.
In a post of X, police, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that they will be booked under relevant sections of law.
Ten hooligans were arrested for trying to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere outside Jamia Masjid Yesterday after Friday prayers. They shall be booked under the relevant section of law. The public is requested not to indulge in such acts failing which law will take its own course,” police said—(KNO)
