120 star campaigners including Rahul Gandhi to campaign for INDIA alliance in Jammu Kashmir

In the run-up to the Jammu Kashmir assembly elections, the Indian National Congress (INC) has finalized a list of 120-star campaigners, including Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi.

These prominent figures are set to visit the Jammu Kashmir starting next month to rally support.

According to the AICC General Secretary, who is also the party’s candidate for the Dooru assembly segment, these campaigners will arrive in phases, with at least 40 campaigners expected during each phase.

This includes Rahul Gandhi and other senior leaders, who will engage with voters across both the Jammu Kashmir divisions.

The three-phased assembly elections are scheduled to begin on September 18 and conclude on October 1, with vote counting set for October 4.

The party will soon release a detailed schedule specifying the areas each star campaigner will visit.

The General Secretary also emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing an unprecedented coalition, which he believes will secure a strong two-thirds majority in the upcoming elections.

He urged voters to support the coalition to address their grievances and ensure their voices are represented in New Delhi.

Despite some internal dissatisfaction over ticket distribution, the General Secretary assured that all leaders would be given opportunities to serve the people, highlighting the broader purpose of politics beyond electoral contests.

When asked about Omar Abdullah’s statement on passing a resolution if the coalition wins, the General Secretary noted that such decisions would be made once a majority is secured, with a comprehensive common minimum program guiding governance for the next five years.
