12th class girl dies of cardiac arrest in Shopian

A 12th class girl died of a cardiac arrest in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

An official told The Kashmiriyat that a girl aged 18 identified as Mehak Jan, daughter of Abdul Majeed Dar, a resident of Sugan area in Shopian fell unconscious at her house on Saturday evening.

Mehak was rushed to the hospital, where the doctors declared her brought dead upon arrival.

Her death is being mourned by the people of the entire locality and people have thronged in huge numbers to offer the funeral of the deceased teenage girl, a local told The Kashmiriyat.
