A teenage boy slipped into river Jhelum in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday, after which the Police has launched massive search operations to trace him out.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that 13-year-old boy identified as Hanan Dar of Rawat pora in Delina area of Baramulla was playing with his friend along the banks of Jhelum when he slipped and drowned into the river.
His friends immediately raised an alarm, and soon locals in large numbers rushed to the spot, The Police too arrived and launched a search operation to trace out the body of the teenage body.
So far, there have been no traces of the boy.
