13-year-old girl kidnapped, raped by two Srinagar residents

A minor girl was allegedly raped after being kidnapped by two adults in the Srinagar district of central Kashmir.

Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that two persons identified as Sahil Javid, a resident of Ganpatyar Habakadal and Sahil Yousuf of Nai Sadak Habakadal in Srinagar’s abducted a minor girl from his locality and raped her.

The parents of the 13-year-old girl lodged an FIR against the accused after which Jammu Kashmir Police have taken the accused duo into custody.

The Jammu Kashmir Police have lodged an FIR vide the number no 11/2023 under sections 363,376 DA of IPC & sec 5,6 of POCSO act at Maisuma Police Station.
