A 13-year-old boy was found hanging inside his home in the Ashmuji area of Kulgam in south Kashmir.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that on Saturday, a boy name (withheld) from Ashmuji was found hanging at his home in an unconscious condition after which he was rushed to the District Hospital Kulgam.
The boy, however, was declared brought dead upon his arrival at District Hospital in Kulgam.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation into the matter.
