151 illegal and un-authorized clinics across the Kashmir valley have been locked down On the directions of Divisional Commissioner and Directorate of Health Services Kashmir.
Reports reveal that 66 illegal clinics were sealed In Baramulla district, 37 in Budgam, Shopian 09, Kupwara 03, Islamabad (Anantnag) 09, Kulgam 13, Pulwama 05, Srinagar 03 and in Ganderbal district 06 illegal and un-authorized clinics were completely sealed.
This was revealed in a meeting to review the progress of the sealing drive, which was chaired by Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan.
He directed the employees to take necessary action against such establishments which were operating in violation of rules, norms, laws and without licences or were run by persons not competent to run such establishments in all districts.
