The Government forces on Saturday morning found an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in north Kashmir.
Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that suspected militant had planted an 18 kilogram IED on the Bandipora—Sopore road near Ashtangoo.
They said that on Sunday morning a road opening party of the Government for es detected IED in the area after which vehicular movement was barred on the road.
“The bomb disposal has reached to the spot and is trying to defuse the IED that has been planted inside a gas cylinder,” they told The Kashmiriyat.
