The Government forces have said that there are currently about 199 militants active in the Kashmir Valley.
The Central Reserve Police Force has said that out of these 199 Militants, 110 Militants are locals and 89 are foreigners.
As of November 24 this year, 148 militants have been killed in encounters with Jammu Kashmir police and the army in the valley.
Out of the slain Militants, 127 of them were locals and 21 were foreigners.
There are about 65,000 CRPF personnel deployed in the valley, and an additional 25 CRPF companies have been deployed since the attack on civilians in the valley.
A total of 11 CRPF personnel have been killed this year while fighting Militants, a CRPF official said.
