The Government Forces on Wednesday claimed to have arrested two Pulwama militants from in Sarknkote area in Poonch district of Jammu region.
Detailing the incident, the Police said that, During a checking the Government Forces intercepted a four wheeler which was coming from Mendhar and going to Sarknkote.
The Vehicle was intercepted near the Jaranwali Gali in Surankote and two people including the driver of the vehicle were arrested.
After sustained interrogation they said turned out to be militants identified as Shabir Ahmed son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din of Kakapora Pulwama and Mohammad Aqib, also a resident of Kakapora Pulwama, Police said adding that two AK 56 rifle and two magazine were recovered from both, Police said.
Meanwhile, sources said that they have dropped five militants in Jaranwali Gali and they are carrying black bags.
