An exchange of gunfire took place between Militants and Government Forces in the Larve area of Kakapora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District on Sunday evening.
Sources informed The Kashmiriyat that the Government Forces including 55 RR and 183 BN of CRPF had Jointly launched a search operation in the area after Militants hurled a grenade on a CRPF camp in Kakpora killing one CRPF man.
The Militants who were intercepted by Government Forces opened massive fire on joint forces, triggering a massive exchange of gunfire.
In the incident, two soldiers were injured, both of them have been rushed to the hospital.
