Two Unidentified dead bodies have been recovered at the gunfight site in Teleyan locality of Arampora in Sopore region of North Kashmir’s Baramulla District, a Police official told The Kashmiriyat.
He said that the forces had conducted search operations in the area during which Militants opened fire on the forces, triggering a gunfight.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that after a gunfight of nearly five hours, the forces managed to kill two Militants holed up in a residential house.
During the search operation, two bodies have been recovered and as per initial reports, one of them has been identified as Usman, a foreign Militant, however officials are yet to confirm anything.
The identity of the Militants is being ascertained, an official said.
