The Jammu Kashmir Police on Wednesday claimed to have reunited two youth from north Kashmir’s Kupwara with their homes. The youth as per Police were planning to join militancy.
The Police in a statement issued to the press said the youth were brought back from Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
According to reports, the youth had gone missing two days ago. However, the parents of the youth did not lodge any missing report.
“Our reliable sources suggest that the duo had intentions of joining militant ranks,”a Police official said.
“After proper counselling both the youth were handed over to their parents,” he said.
