The Government Forces including 30RR, 93 BN CRPF and jammu Kashmir police jointly launched a cordon and search operation in wee hours of morning at Kaloora forestsof North Kashmir.
Soon after the joint team of forces laid the cordon, The holed up Militants opened fire, triggering a Gunfight.
An army Official confirmed that the gunfight broke out between the militants and the government forces in the area and said that two militants were killed in the gunfight.
The Gunfight raged in the Kaloora forests of Galoora village in Handwara area of North Kashmir.
The Gunfight ended with the killing of two local militants.
The authorities directed telecom companies to snap internet services in Handwara parts, District administration Kupwara has decided to suspend class work today in GDC Handwara.
All Higher Secondary Schools of Mawar and Langate Zones as a precautionery measure.
