Two Militants have been killed in an Encounter started between militants and Government forces at Drubgam area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police were fired upon by Militants during a cordon and search operation in the area.
Immediately the troops cordoned off the area and the hiding Militants opened fire on the troopers triggering an encounter.
In the ensuing gunfight two Local Militants were killed.
Their bodies have been recovered from the encounter site and arms and ammunition has also been recovered from their possession.
Meanwhile Mobile Internet services have been barred in Shopian and Pulwama districts.
