Two Girls were kidnapped by unknown persons in a Skih Majority Village, Chittisinghpora in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District.
Police Officials told The Kashmiriyat that two girls (names with held by The Kashmiriyat) were returning from school on Tuesday when unknown persons travelling in a Maruti car sprayed some chemical on their face.
Following this the duo fell unconscious but when they regained their senses, they found themselves in Srinagar. The duo shouted loudly following which locals gathered near the spot, the kidnappers fled immediately from the spot, Police Officials said.
They said that, later the duo was rescued by the locals of that area and they called the families of the duo, the locals in Chittsinghpora who reached the Srinagar locality and brought back the Girls home to South Kashmir.
The Jammu Kashmir Police has registered an FIR number 55/2018 in this regard and an investigation has been taken up.
