SSP of Jammu Kashmir Police for Islamabad (Anantnag) District, SDPO Pahalgam and SHO Pahalgam Shabir Ahmad were among the 20 Policeman injured in the intense stone throwing clashes that erupted in Yaned area of Pahalgam in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that ten protesters were also injured during the intense clashes that erupted after the news of a local Militant, Arif Ahmed getting killed in Shopian Encounter spread in the area.
They said that ambulances ferrying youth injured during clashes that had erupted in the village were also disallowed to move outside the village by forces deployed at the entry of the village.

The Kashmiriyat has learnt that massive numbers have poured into yenad despite restrictions and Police, Army CRPF disallowing people to move into the village.
The whole area is reverberating with Pro Freedom and Pro Islam slogans, however the body of the slain Militant has not reached his native Village as of yet.
