A 20-year-old girl died due to electrocution in Inderkoot village of Sumbal, a sub-division in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday afternoon
Officials speaking to The Kashmiriyat identified the deceased girl as Shafia Rasool, daughter of Ghulam Rasool Malik.
They said that she was preparing a meal for the family when she accidentally touched a live wire and received an electric shock.
She died on the spot.
Meanwhile, police has taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case in this regard and set investigations into motion.
