20-Year-Old Youth’s Body Recovered in Poonch

Body of a 20-year-old youth was recovered from Sangla nalla in Surankote area of Poonch on Wednesday, officials said.

The youth identified as Imtiaz Ahmed son of Mohammad Bashir of Dandi Dhara had drowned late night, they said.

A police official told GNS that body was recovered nearly a kilometer from the spot where the youth had drowned. The body was shifted to Sub District hospital Surankote for postmortem and later handed over to his legal heirs for last rites, the official added. (GNS)
