April 20 Strong Windstorms in Shangus area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District. April 20 A Youth identified as Shabnam Rasool Wani son of Ghulam Rasool wani who was going for tuition in Parraypora died early morning on Friday. As Per Police Officials the youth a resident of Munar Yaripora was in class 11th and was residing in Hyderpora. Missing youth from Brari Angan has likely Joined Militants

Weapon snatched in Pinjoora recovered

April 19 Jahangeer Ganie The weapon that had been snatched by unknown persons today in Pinjoora Shopian has been recovered, Sources told The Kashmiriyat. Unknown persons on Thursday had snatched a service rifle from a bank guard at Pinjora in south Kashmir’s Shopian district. 167% Increase in Civilian Deaths in Kashmir

April 19 A Report release by Ministry of Home affairs has claimed that Civilian deaths in Jammu Kashmir rose by a staggering 167% last year compared to 2015. The army and state police has claimed that most of the civilian deaths happened due to their interference during counter-insurgency operations.
