Clashes in Pulwama, Srinagar

April 05 (Image Used for Representation) Tasaduq Hussain Clashes Erupted between protesters and Government forces on Friday in Trehgam area of North Kashmir. Forces Deployed in the area fired tear smoke shells to disperse protesters, a local told The Kashmiriyat. Locals alleged that people were protesting against the forces who barged into the houses of people and thrashed people. A lady has also been injured in the action of forces, locals alleged. Scores of people protested the harassment by forces when they wired fired upon with tear smoke shells. The Clashes were going on when this report was filed. Pertinently Trehgam is the native village of founder of JKLF, Mohammed Maqbool Bhat.

Another Youth Found Dead in Ganderbal

April 05 Rayees Shah Police on Friday claimed to have recovered a dead body from Nallah Sindh in central Kashmir's Ganderbal district. A spokesman of police said that one male dead body identified as Shabir Ahmad Lone (aged about 28 years) S/o Mohammad Sultan Lone R/o Arch, Ganderbal was fished out from Nallah Sindh. "Reportedly the said person had gone for fishing yesterday and did not return back'' , the police official said. "It appears the death is due to drowning. Police has registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up by the local police",  the official further added.

Gloom Prevails as South Kashmir Shuts for the 6th Day

Parts of Islamabad town had open yesterday, however most of the localities including the Dialgam belt, Kokernag Belt observed a complete shutdown while as Shopian, Pulwama and Kulgam were completely shut. The Kashmiriyat was informed that traffic is off the roads, while business establishments are also shut. The Government has also suspended classwork in educational institutes while as railway services have also been suspended. Hundreds of people are still visiting the houses of Slain Militants and civilians in Shopian District of South Kashmir.

Kashmir Solidarity Day Being Observed in Pakistan

April 06 Kashmir Solidarity Day is being observed on Friday across Pakistan to condemn the ongoing ‘violence and killing spree’ by the Indian Army in Jammu Kashmir. A resolution to this effect was adopted in a special meeting of the federal cabinet held in Islamabad on Monday with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in the chair. April 05 The Dead body of a Manzoor Ahmad Bhat (25) son of  Ab Gaffar Bhay abducted by gunmen late last Wednesday night was found headless at an orchard falling in Bonmohalla, Hajin. As per reports the body of a throat-slit youth who was abducted by armed gunmen on Wednesday night has been recvovered today morning.
