2 Civilians Hit With Bullets, 1 Critical

June 29 Two youth have sustained a bullet wounds during the ongoing clashes near the encounter site in Chatpora area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District. Hospital Sources confirmed to The Kashmiriyat that one youth Zubair Ahmed was brought to the hospital in a critical condition along with another youth who has sustained a bullet injury. June 29 At least three persons have been injured during the ongoing clashes that erupted near the gunfight sight in South Kashmir's Pulwama District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that scores of youth were injured, while three of them as confirmed by the officials at District Hospital Pulwama have been brought there. They said that one of them has been referred to Srinagar for further treatment. Meanwhile clashes were going on in Chatpora area where forces have laid a massive search operation and few gunshots were also heard. Details emerging.

June 29 Massive Clashes erupted in the Arihal area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District on Friday afternoon after Government Forces launched a cordon and Search Operation in the operation in the area. A Cordon and Search Operation had been launched in South Kashmir by Government forces including 55 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police. As Soon as the forces entered the area, the youth hit the streets in large numbers to which the forces responded by immense tear smoke shelling. Massive Clashes in Shopian Area

June 26 Clashes broke out between the Government forces and youth after Government forces launched a search operation in Ahagam area of Shopian district. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that scores of the youth assembled and pelted stones on government forces to disrupt the CASO in the area. The Forces deployed in the area retaliated with tear gas shells to disperse the protesters. 1 Militant Killed in Kupwara Encounter

June 29 One Militant has been killed in the gunfight that is underway between militants and Government forces in the forest area of North Kashmir's Kupwara District early morning on Friday. Initial reports available to The Kashmiriyat said that encounter started in upper reaches of Kupwara when the hiding militants opened fire upon a searching party today morning. Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that 44 RR of Indian Army was fired upon by suspected Militants near the Army goodwill schools in the area. The Forces have launched a Cordon and Search Operation in the area to nab the attackers. As per initial reports nobody has been injured in the attack.
