Fake Doctor Scandal- Health Department Launches Investigation

July 29 Sajad Hameed The Jammu Kashmir Health department has launched an investigation into allegations that a fake doctor has been duping gullible since a year in North Kashmirs Baramulla, Kupwara and Bandipora districts claiming he was an orthopaedic expert. One of the clinics of the doctor under scanner of department of health and police has been sealed at Hyderbagh Pattan. The accused Tariq Ahmad Teli, 32, is a resident of Chokar Pattan, and was “practising” as orthopaedic doctor. On his prescription he has been claiming to have all the degrees including MBBS from MTR university Vijaywada, Andhra Pradesh, and MS from Rajiv Medical College. At least 110 Local Youth Have Joined Militants Till July 15

July 29 Local youths joining Militant groups in the Kashmir Valley this year stood at 110 till July 15, with Shopian in south Kashmir accounting for the maximum recruitment at 28, officials said. The numbers have drastically gone up as being constantly in 2018 reported by The Kashmiriyat.  In 2017, the total recruitment stood at 126. Indian Security agency officials said highly volatile south Kashmir, comprising Shopian, Pulwama, Anantnag and Kulgam districts, remained a region accounting for a higher number of youths joining militant groups as 91 youths joined various Militant outfits from here. July 29 One more youth from South Kashmir has picked arms and posed with an AK 47 rifle to tell his family that he has joined Militant ranks. The youth has been identified as Aarif Ahmed Mir Son of Abdul Rehman Mir a resident of Pahalgam area in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District. Hindu Priest Arrested for Raping 120 Girls in Haryana

July 29 Baba Amarpuri, a priest at Baba Balaknath Temple in Haryana's Fatehabad was arrested by police after videos of him allegedly raping women surfaced online. As per reports, the 60-year-old is accused of raping at least 120 women. He has been sent to 5-day police remand. Reports suggest that the police have received 120 clips, each with a different victim. The videos were shot by baba himself, with his cellphone. Goat Dies After being Raped by 8 men in haryana

July 29 In a shocking incident, a pregnant goat died after being gang-raped by eight men in Mewat of Haryana. According to reports, the eight men reportedly stole the goat from a house early and took the goat to a secluded spot and mercilessly raped her. After that, five people fled the scene whereas three stayed back.  They tracked the goat down after hearing to her shriek. When he found the goat, she had already breather her last. July 28 Suspected Militants who had abducted Special Police Officer Shakeel Ahmed Lone at his residence in Chan Kitar area of Tral late night on Friday has reached home just now. July 28 Gunshots were heard during a Cordon and Search Operation launched in Khee Jogipora area of South Kashmir's Kulgam District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a cordon and search operation was launched by Government Forces in the village following specific input about Militant presence in the area. At least 4 CRPF men Injured in Grenade Attack at Pulwama

July 28 Unidentified persons hurled a grenade on a CRPF patrol party in Jawbehra in Awantipora area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District on Saturday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that unknown persons hurled a grenade on CRPF men near the camp of 130 Battalion of CRPF in the Awantipora area. Teachers of GDC Kulgam Teaching Without Salary for the past Four Months

July 28 For the fourth month in a row, teachers working at Government Degree College in Kulgam District have not received salary. Demanding payment, they held a protest demonstration pn Saturday and refused to teach students warning the authorities in case of further delay. The teachers while speaking to The Kashmiriyat alleged that due to non-payment of salaries their lives have become miserable. Despite them repeatedly knocking the doors of officials, nothing has been done in the regard, they alleged. “As days are passing, it’s getting more difficult for us to manage without salaries.
