At Least 5 Injured in Clashes During CASO in Kulgam Village

August 05 At least 5 persons have been injured in the massive clashes that erupted in the Khuri Batpora area of Damhal Hanjipora belt in South Kashmir's Kulgam District. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that people in droves of hundreds and thousands came out of their homes throwing stones on Government Forces that came into the area to launch an Anti Militancy CASO. The troops fired tear smoke shells and pellets go disperse the protesters, both women and men. "They also fired on protesters to disperse them," a local told The Kashmiriyat. August 05 Massive Clashes erupted during a CASO launched in Khuri Batpora area of Damhal hanjipora Belt town in South Kashmir's Kulgam District. The Government forces laid down a Cordon and search operation in the main town area  on Sunday afternoon. Youth Goes Missing from Shopian, Has Likely Joined Militants

August 05 Youth namely Bilal Ahmad Bhat son of Habib u llah Bhat resident of Keegam area of  shopian district is missing from 31st July evening. As per his family members, Bilal was alone at home on 31st July as all other family members other than him were busy in their orchard. As we reached back home from orchard, bilal wasn't there and we tried to contact him however his phone was repeatedly coming  switched off. 51 Taliban Militants Killed in Army Operations

August 05 At least 51 Taliban insurgents were killed and six were injured during an ongoing operation by Afghan forces in eastern Kunar province, Khaama Press reported. The sixth phase of Qahr Silab-2 operation kicked off on Friday night and is currently being conducted with the help of the artillery and close air support, a statement by the Silab Corps said. The statement elaborated that 51 Taliban militants including three of their key leaders were killed and at least six others sustained critical injuries. Girl Stabbed to Death in Broad day Light on a Busy Street in Mumbai

August 05 A 21-year-old girl was allegedly to death by an unidentified man near the busy Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Thane area of Mumbai. The incident took place in broad day light around 10.30 am, reports said. The victim, Prachi Zade, was going on her two-wheeler when the accused stopped her near the RTO on the highway and stabbed her several times before fleeing from the spot, she died on the spot. After being alerted about the incident, a police team rushed to the spot and the victim's body was taken to the Government Civil Hospital for autopsy.

Valley Shuts Down in Defence of 35 A- District Wise Report

August 05 A Man identified as Mohammed Shafi Gujjar was killed when Army opened fire upon two persons in Kohli area of Gool is Ramban District of Jammu Kashmir.
