Valley Shuts Down in Defence of 35 A- District Wise Report

August 05 Restrictions have been imposed in most of the towns in the Kashmir valley on Sunday as the valley has shut down from North to South in defence of special status to Jammu Kashmir. In Pulwama township, the Government Forces have imposed restrictions as a large number of troopers are standing guard around the main town to thwart any protest, reported Jahangeer Ganie. Man Killed by Army in Ramban

August 05 A Man identified as Mohammed Shafi Gujjar was killed when Army opened fire upon two persons in Kohli area of Gool is Ramban District of Jammu Kashmir. Reports said that another person injured in the firing is being treated at a local Hospital. August 04 The desilting/ clearance of structures (SR & Clarifloculator) of Water Supply service Islamabad (Anantnag) (old) which was earlier scheduled to be carried out on 4th & 5th shall now take place on 7th and 8th of August. Officials informed The Kashmiriyat that the process will cause non-availability of drinking water supply for 3 days in areas namely Shirpora, Kadipora - Sarnal, Iqbalabad, Anchidoora, SK Colony, Mattan, Krangsoo(partly), Ashajipora, Danter, Donipawa, Khandipari, TB Shah, Batengoo and rest of the town areas will receive low service level.
