Suspected Militants Kill Three Abducted Policemen

September 21 Suspected militants killed three abducted cops in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the cops were cop were abducted from two villages Bategund and Kapren after suspected militants barged into their houses late night on Thursday. The slain Policemen have been identified as  Firdous Ahmad, Kuldeep Singh and Nisar Ahmad. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the bullet riddled bodies of three cops have been recovered from Dangam area of Shopian. The fourth abducted cop namely Tajaullah has been released by the Militants.

Grenade Attack on Police Station in Pulwama Area

September 20 Unknown persons hurled a grenade on Police post in Rajpora area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District late evening on Thursday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that unknown persons hurled a grenade on a Police post in Rajpora area which missed the target and exploded near the gate of the Police station which was retaliated by Forces with intense firing. The Militants escaped from the spot, as per sources. As per initial reports, nobody has been injured in the attack. A police official said that a search operation has been launched around the area.

Two Shopian Youth Arrested During Nocturnal Raids

September 20 Nocturnal raids were conducted in Saidpora Bala area of South Kashmir's Shopian district late night on Wednesday.
