Man Beaten Inside Police Station, Admitted in District Hospital Islamabad

September 03 A 46 year old man identified as Bashir Ahmed Reshi has been roughed up and assaulted by Jammu Kashmir Police in police lock up at Utersoo in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District on Monday. Family of Bashir told The Kashmiriyat that Bashir was arrested by Jammu Kashmir Police after an FIR had been lodged against him in the Utersoo Police station after which he was arrested by the Police. September 03 A worker of People's Democratic Party was shot at by unknown gunmen on Monday when he was coming out of Sports stadium in Pulwama. Train Services in South Kashmir suspended

September 03 Following a massive cordon and search operation in Pulwama of South Kashmir, the Railway authorities have suspended train services from Banihal to Srinagar. "Following the volatile situation in South Kashmir areas, the train services have been suspended as a precautionary measure," officials told The Kashmiriyat. Massive clashes have erupted in Pulwama of South Kashmir after Government Forces launched a cordon and search operation in at least 18 villages. One youth has also been killed in the ongoing clashes.
