Trauma centre to be Built at Vailoo Area in Islamabad (Anantnag), Funds Sanctioned for 32 Irrigation Canals

September 27 The District Development Commissioner (DDC) for Islamabad (Anantnag) Mohammad Younis Malik on Thursday chaired a meeting to review the status of languishing projects in the District. He directed the concerned departments to project the total estimated cost, expenditure incurred so far and liabilities of the ongoing projects /schemes, implementation of District Development Board decisions & commitments & directions issued in the Governor’s meeting held at Dak Bunglow, Khanabal in July – 2018. He said that Rs. 111 crore will be sanctioned for 32 irrigation schemes and also directed health department to project the demands for PHC Nowgam, Rehmat e Alam Hospital, PHC Hapatnard, NTPHC Brinty, Hakura, Dethu, Rainipora, Sadiwara, Nowgam( Shangus), walling of PHC Qama...

Beacon Official Killed in Army Ambush in North Kashmir

September 27 A non local official of beacon department was killed in an ambush laid at Sayeedan Pathra Kakva Gali kralpora in northern Kashmir’s kupwara district on Thursday morning. Reports said that, an ambush was laid in the said area by Army’s 3 JAK unit. “We are ascertaining the details and identification of the person,” Police officer said. Official version of the incident is being awaited.

At least 15 Injured in Clashes at Budgam, Srinagar Clashes

September 27 At least nine pellet who were hit with pellets at Panzgam area in Budgam are being treated at SHMS hospital on Thursday afternoon. Sources told The Kashmiriyat youth including girls in large numbers hit the streets of Panzan Budgam and threw stones on Government Forces, the forces responded with immense tear smoke shelling in which at least ten people were injured. Soon after the news of the killing of two militants in Panzan area of Budgam, the youth took to the streets and clashed with government forces, resulting in injuries to many protesters. Eight people were also received in SMHS from the downtown area of Srinagar.

2 Militants Including Former Policeman Killed- Budgam Gunfight Over

September 27 Two Militants have been been killed in the ongoing gunfighit in Panzan area of Chadoora in Budgam District of Jammu Kashmir on Thursday. Officials told The Kashmiriyat The Forces including 53 RR, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF laid a joint operation in Paznan area of Chadoora in Budgam and cordoned off the locality. They said the militants holed up in the area opened fire upon the forces, triggering a gunfight. "The Encounter has been called off," Officials told The Kashmiriyat. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that one of the slain Militants has been identified as Irfan Ahmed Dar, the SPO who went missing from his Police Duty 22 June this year. The authorities have also suspend the Mobile internet Services in the central Kashmir District.  

Militants offers Gun Salute to Slain lashkar Commander in islamabad (Anantnag)

September 27 Militants on Thursday offered Gun Salute to slain lashkar e Taiba commander, Mohammed Asif Malik at Dooru area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) district during his funeral. Asif  was killed in an Encounter that raged early morning in South Kashmir’s Islamabad District on Thursday, Officials told The Kashmiriyat. They said that a group of 2-3 Militants appeared on the stage where the corpse lay and fired in the air as a mark of respect to their slain colleague. Meanwhile thousands of people have gathered in the area to attend the funeral of the slain Militant He was killed in a gunfight while some Militants  reportedly escaped from the encounter site in the Dooru area of South kashmir's Islamabad District.

The Family of slain Hizb commander has alleged that the forces tried to torch their house at Drabgam village of south Kashmir’s district Pulwama.
