November 30 The Government Forces on Friday launched a cordon and search operation in Nazneenpore area in South Kashmir’s Shopian District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the forces including 44 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police sealed all the entry and exit points to the area. A heavy contingent of forces reached this locality and are conducting a search operation in the area, Locals told The Kashmiriyat. A search operation was going on when this report was being filed. Forces Begin Hunt for Zakir Musa and other two Main Commanders

November 30 Zeenat-ul-Islam, Zakir Musa and Riyaz Naikoo – The three A-Grade Militants are in the hit-list of the Indian Army after killing 233 militants in Kashmir this year – the highest so far. The biggest militant to have been killed previously was Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Naveed Jatt. Now the Government forces are working towards killing the remaining top militant leaders – Zeenat-ul-Islam, Zakir Musa and Riyaz Naikoo. November 29 The Government Forces on Thursday night launched cordon and search operations in various area of Kashmir Valley following specific inputs about Militant movement in those areas. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that late night on Thursday, the forces including RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police launched CASOs in Chonimil in Samboora Pulwama, Bouh area of Kulgam, Manzhama Keegam of Shopian and Kachloo area of Kralgund in Kupwara. The Forces sealed all the entry and exit points to the areas and are conducting a search operation in the areas, Sources told The Kashmiriyat. Teacher who asked Students not to Throw Stones Booked for Inciting Violence in Kulgam

November 29 A teacher posted in Government Degree College in Kulgam identified as Abdul Bari has been booked for inciting violence in the college campus by the Jammu Kashmir Police. In August forces entered the premises of Government Degree College in Kulgam and fired tear smoke shells inside the college premises after which the students threw at the Government Forces. Abdul Bari who is a resident of Czadder area in Kulgam according to eyewitnesses intervened and managed to control the students and disperse them away from the spot after which the students left the college. Adnan- An Engineer From Family of Doctors and Teachers Killed in Pampore Encounter

November 29 "On a cold January Morning in 2015, we received a letter that our 19 year old son had picked up Arms, the decision was unexpected, the situation in 2015 was unlike it is now," a cousin of Adnan Ahmed Lone who was killed in the Pampore Encounter on Thursday morning told The Kashmiriyat. A Police official said that a cordon-and-search operation was launched by a joint team of army's 50 Rashtriya Rifles, police and CRPF in Shar e Saali area of Pampore in Pulwama District of South Kashmir. Clashes After Militant Funeral in Pulwama

November 29 Intense Clashes have erupted in Bandina area of Pulwama District in South Kashmir after slain Militant Adnan Ahmed Lone in the area. Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that thousands of people including women attended the funeral of the slain Militant at his native amid high pitched pro independence and Anti India slogans. After the conclusion of  the funeral prayers, the forces allegedly fired tear smoke shells at the youth and in return the youth threw firepots  (Kangri) on the forces, triggering clashes. November 29 Shabir Khan Amid massive clashes thousands of people attend last rites of Slain militant at Sopore in North Kashmir's Baramulla district on Thursday. Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that people in thousands assembled at Iqbal Market Sopore to participate in the funeral prayers of Sopore militant. Slain Mehraj ul Din Sofi alias Marouf was killed along with Top Lashkar-e-Toiba commander Naveed Jatt in a gunfight with government forces at Chattergam area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday. Soon after funeral prayers, Scores of youth pelted stones on deployed forces who in turn lobbed teargas shells to disperse them. Naveed Jutt Killing- Dooru Shuts for Second Consecutive Day

November 29 A complete shutdown is being observed in Dooru area of Islamabad (Anantnag) of South Kashmir against the killing of Naveed Jatt on Wednesday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that roads in the Dooru area are wearing a deserted look, shops and other business establishments are shut while vehicular movement is thin on the streets. Meanwhile train services in Kashmir have been suspended.

JK Bank Employees Protest Against SAC

November 29 The Employees of  Jammu Kashmir Bank on Thursday staged a protest in Srinagar demanding roll back of state administrative council’s (SAC) decision to turn the bank into a public sector undertaking (PSU). The call for protests was issued by All India J&K Bank officers Federation on Wednesday. Dozens of employees assembled at the corporate headquarters of the bank on MA road in Srinagar and staged a protest demonstration.
