Unidentified Dead Body Found in Shopian Area

November 17 An unidentified Male body was found on Saturday afternoon in the Tongi Nallah in Landoora area of South Kashmir's Shopian District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that locals spotted a throat slit body of an unidentified man in the Landoora village on Saturday afternoon. The Locals rushed to the spot and called the Police who have rushed to the spot. Details Emerging. CASO Launched in the Native of Basit Mir in Islamabad (anantnag) Area

November 17 The Government on Saturday launched a cordon and search operation in Pushwara area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Saturday, the forces including 1RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police sealed all the entry and exit points to the area. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this Khanabal locality and are conducting a search operation in the areas. Bears Attacks Woman in Shangus Area

ISLAMABAD
November 17 Sheikh Nadeem On Saturday afternoon, two bears attacked a lady in the Shangus area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District while she was working in her field. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that Nabiza Banoo wife of Mohammed Ibrahim Bhat was working in her orchard when two bears attacked her resulting into grievous injuries to the Lady. The Locals rushed to help and chased away the bears and rushed the injured lady to the nearby hospital. A team of wildlife has reached the spot and caught hold of one bear while they were trying to locate the second one when this report was filed.

Over 45 Per cent Voting in Baramulla Till 1 PM

CRPF Man Dies in Pulwama Road Accident

November 17 One CRPF personnel died in a road accident on Saturday afternoon near Awantipora on the Srinagar-Jammu highway. Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that a CRPF vehicle met with an accident near Chechkote area of Awantipora, resulting into injuries to one CRPF man who was rushed to Primary Health Centre Awantipora where he succumbed to his injuries. The slain CRPF personnel has been identified as Gulab Chand of 130 battalion of CRPF.

Unknown Gunmen Abduct Three civilians in Shopian Area

November 17 Unknown gunmen on Saturday abducted  three civilians from Saidpora area of South Kashmir's Shopian district. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that  unknown gunmen on Saturday morning unknwon gunmen barged into Saidpora area of Shopian and abducted three civilians the area. Four Youth Arrested During Nocturnal Raids in Shopain

November 17 Government forces have detained three youth during nocturnal raids in Sever Memander area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the forces raided several houses late last night in Memander Shopian and detained three youth from the area while one youth was detained from Heff area of this South Kashmir district. The arrested youth were identified as Sajad Thokar, Rayees Ahmed Zargar and Shabbir Ahmed, all residents of Memander area in South Kashmir's Shopian District. Two Youth Arrested During Nocturnal Raids in North Kashmir

November 17 Government forces have detained two youth during night raids in Sever Thandipora area of Lolab in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. Locals said that the forces raided several houses late last night in Sever Lolab and detained two youth from the area. The arrested youth were identified as Abass Shafi Malla and Ishfaq Ahmad Malla, both residents of Sever Thandipora Lolab. Reports said that the locals staged a protest in Sever area demanding release of the duo. The protesters demanding their release blocked Kupwara-Warnow road to register their protest. The locals allege that forces vandalize the property in the area.
