November 12 Sheikh Nadeem Dilapidated link road from Batagund to Charikadi village of south Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district continues to irk commuters and the pedestrians as the authorities have failed to macadamize the roads despite assurances. Inhabitants living in the areas as well the commuter passing through the roads here while speaking to The Kashmiriyat have demanded immediate redressal of their genuine grievances. Locals said that the road in their area was not macadamized and due to potholes drivers jerking their knees resulting the risk of toppling in these ditches. Army School Bus Meet Accident in Pahalgam- 7 Students Injured

November 12 A School bus on Monday afternoon while leaving from the school met with an accident In Lidru area of South Kashmir's Pahalgam Area. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a bus of Army Goodwill School, Pahalgam skidded off the road and met with an accident resulting into injuries to seven school students. The Bus accident occurred at Lidru area of Pahalgam in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District. The Locals rushed to the spot and rescued the injured students who have been shifted to Pahalgam hospital. A Police official confirmed the incident and said the school students have received minor injuries

Youth injured in Road Accident at Baramulla

November 12 A youth identified as Sahil Ahmed was injured in a road accident at Sheeri in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that a private car bearing the registration number JK05D-4764 skidded off the road near Sheeri petrol station resulting in injuries to one person who was rushed to the hospital for treatment. His condition is stated to be critical.

7 Killed by Israeli Forces in Palestine

November 12 Palestinian health officials in the Gaza Strip say seven people have been killed and six have been wounded by Israeli fire in a sudden, late-night burst of fighting. Israel’s forces also killed a commander from Hamas in clashes in the Gaza Strip, Gaza officials have reported. They said a group of Hamas members were fired upon from a passing car. Witness statements said Israeli planes fired more than 20 missiles into open areas where the incident took place. “During Israel Defense Forces operational activity in the Gaza Strip, an exchange of fire evolved,” and IDF statement read. Unidentified Persons Stab Pulwama Civilian

November 12 Unidentified persons on Sunday night barged into the residential house at Nowpora Payeen area of South Kashmir's Pulwama and stabbed him an inmate. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a 30-year-old man identified as Shabir Ahmad Ganie was stabbed in his stomach by unidentified men in Nowpora Payeen area of Pulwama district. Man Injured in Bear Attack in Shopian

November 12 A man was wounded in a bear attack while he was working in his apple orchard in south Kashmir district of Shopian on Sunday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Ghulam Rasool Ganie was working in his apple orchard when a bear entered the orchard from a nearby forest and attacked and wounded him. "He cried  for help from and the villagers rushed to the spot and away the bear, and rushed Ghulam Rasool to a nearby hospital.  

Another Panchayat Ghar Set Ablaze in Islamabad (anantnag) Area

November 11 A panchayat ghar set was ablaze by unknown persons at Bul Bul nowgam area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (anantnag) District on Sunday night. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that flames emerged from a panchayat Ghar located in the Bul Bul Nowgam area late on Sunday evening triggering panic in the area. The fire tenders were soon rushed to the spot and are on job to douse off the fire, a Police officials told The Kashmiriyat. Sources said that the building suffered massive damage in the fire and said, "Fire Fighters are on job to bring the fire under control," a Local said. This is at least the 12th Incident of such buildings being set ablaze in the past two months.

November 11 Despite growing encounters and repeated verbal attempts of the Army and Director General of Jammu Kashmir  Police, Militancy is showing no signs of declination. In fact the Army General of India has been constantly asking the local Kashmiri youth to give up arms and asking people to keep their wards away from militancy. Though Militancy is growing swiftly as more local youth are picking up arms to strengthen the Militant ranks, Figures available to The Kashmiriyat suggest that at least 150 Local youth have picked up arms this year.
