CASO Launched in Tral Area

November 09 The Government Forces on Friday launched a cordon and search operation in Dar Ganie Mohallah of Dadasara area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Friday morning, the forces including 42 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police sealed all the entry and exit points to this Tral area. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this Tral locality and are conducting a search operation in the areas. Minor girl dies after slipping into irrigation canal in Kangan

November 08 A minor girl died after she  slipped into a irrigation canal in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district Wednesday afternoon. Officials said that 3 year old girl identified as Seerat Bashir daughter of  Bashir Ahmad Dar a resident of Lal Mohallah village of Satrina Kangan while playing near a canal slipped into it. They said the body of the little girl was fished out and immediately rushed to Sub District Hospital Kangan were the doctors declared her brought dead on arrival. After the legal formalities the body has been handed over the family for last rites.
