17 Year Old Boy Dies in Road Accident in Baramulla

December 21 A 17 year old youth died in a road mishap in north Kashmir’s Tapper Waripora area on Friday noon. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a youth identified as Mohammad Sultan Dar son of Mohammad Maqbool Dar died after a tractor he was travelling in turned turtle. The deceased was a resident of Tapper Waripora area in Baramulla district. He had suffered critical injuries and he was shifted to a local hospital where he died.

Teenage Girl Raped by Four People in UP

December 21 Four persons have been arrested for allegedly raping a teenage girl in Sikandarpur area in Uttar Pradesh, police said Friday. The police arrested four of the five accused on Thursday for raping the 13-year-old on November 29, they added. “The arrested were identified as Manish, Arjun, Acchelal and Krishna. The fifth accused is on the run,” a senior official said.

December 20 The Jammu Kashmir Police on Thursday claimed to have arrrsted an active Militant in Ganderbal district today evening. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Jammu Kashmir Police along with 24 RR and 118 CRPF in a joint operation arrested a militant.
