Sources told The Kashmiriyat, the forces including 21 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police sealed all the entry and exit points to the Goripora area. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this Sopore locality and are conducting a massive search operation in the area. This Rikshaw Puller Built Nine Schools in Assam From His Personal Savings

December 20 Ahmed Ali, the 82-year-old rickshaw-puller from Karimganj district, opened nine schools in Madhurband village of Patharkandi with his personal earnings. By mentioning Ali in his monthly address to the nation, the PM set off a sense of festivity in the remote village, close to the Bangladesh border. “I began my work by the wish of Allah and achieved some success by means of blessings from locals,” said Ali, a school dropout himself. He first started building a school in 1978. He sold a piece of land that he had and collected some money from villagers and established a lower primary school. December 20 On a call issued by Auqaf Committee in Pulwama, the Southern Kashmir District has shut for the sixth consecutive day against the killing of ten locals in Sirnoo area of Pulwama District on Saturday. Locals from Pulwama informed The Kashmiriyat that business establishments, educational institutes are shut in the area while Militant photographs have surfaced in many areas of the District. Kokernag Woman Dies of Suffocation, Husband Battles for Life on Hospital bed

December 20 Waris Shah A woman died due to suffocation inside her house in Sagam Area of kokernag in South Kashmir's  Islamabad (Anantnag) district on Wednesday. Locals informed The Kashmiriyat that Firdoosa and her husband, Bashir Ahmad Rather, were found unconscious in their home at Ratherpora area of Sagam in kokernag late on Wednesday afternoon. They said the couple was shifted to nearly hospital where Firdoosa was declared brought dead by doctors, while her husband was taken to SKIMS hospital for further treatment. Stone Throwing Clashes Erupt in Pulwama, Slow Internet Restored in Parts of South Kashmir after 5 days

December 19 Clashes between protesters and government forces erupted in the main town area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district against the Killing of ten people including three Militants in the Pulwama District. A Local told The Kashmiriyat that scores of protesters assembled near the main road of Police station and pelted stones on forces who responded to immense tear smoke shelling. A complete shutdown was observed in the district for the fifth day on Wednesday, after which clashes erupted. Protests to Be Held At Delhi Against Pulwama Killings

December 19 A protest march has been organized in New Delhi's Jantar Mantar against the "gruesome" murder of seven civilians in Pulwama on Saturday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the march has been candle light vigil and protest demonstration has been organized by a group of Civil Society Organization including the People's Union for Civil Liberties, National Alliance of People's Movements. The March is scheduled to start in about 4:30 pm at the Delhi's Jantar Mantar and is expected to be attended by both Kashmiri and Non Kashmiri Participants.
