December 03 The Government Forces have called off the search operation in the Sangran area of South Kashmir's Kulgam district after searches of nearly five hours on Monday morning. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 34 RR of Indian Army, SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF launched a Cordon and Search Operation in the area upon receiving a specific input about the presence of Militants in the area. December 03 Clashes between protesters and government forces erupted in Sangrama area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district where a gunfight had raged between militants and forces early morning on Monday. A Local told The Kashmiriyat that scores of protesters including women assembled and pelted stones on forces who responded to immense tear smoke shelling. Ahtisham Bilal Arrested by Police at his home in Srinagar

December 02 A Delhi university student Ahtisham Bilal from Khanyar locality of city who had recently joined militant outfit, ISJK was arrested by the Jammu Kashmir police soon after he reached his home. Kashmiri student Ehtisham Bilal, who was missing after being beaten up by students in Sharda University in Noida-NCR on 4 October had reportedly joined militant ranks after returning to Valley as few days ago. Nocturnal Raids in Kokernag Area, At least 5 Arrested

December 02 The Government Forces conducted Nocturnal raids in Soaf Shali area Kokernag in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) district late night on Saturday. Zakir Musa says he wants Militants from all groups to be safe- Issues Safety Guidelines

December 02 Zakir Musa led group, Ansar Ghazwat ul Hind (AGH) has released “Security Guidelines” for the militants in Kashmir and said that the group is concerned with the safety of Militants. In a poster released via its media channel Al Hur on Telegram, the group has given an eleven point instruction. The group has stressed upon the need of maintaining secrecy about locations and not to disclose the pin point locations to others. Militants should make their own hideouts without without seeking the help of any civilian or worker, the statement further says.
