January 13 Following a specific input about Militant movement, the Government Forces jointly launched a cordon and search operation in the Sopore area of  North Kashmir's Baranulla District. On the forenoon of Sunday, the forces including  RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir police sealed all the entry and exit points to the Tarzoo Ambarpora in Sopore area.   (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this Sopore locality and are conducting a search operation in the area. Eyewitnesses informed The Kashmiriyat that women and men in large numbers reached Chillipora to participate in the funeral of slain Shakeel who had joined Militancy in the month of May, last year. January 13 The fresh snowfall since Friday threw life out of gear as the Srinagar-Jammu highway remained closed and the air traffic was also suspended but the weather is likely to improve from Sunday afternoon.
