Road Accident in Pahalgam

March 19 Murtaza Gull One person was injured when a Sumo passenger vehicle turned turtle near the Batkote area of Pahalgam in South Kashmir's Islamabad (anantnag) district. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a vehicle bearing the registration number JK03D 7712 plying on the Khanabal- Pahalgam road turned turtle causing injuries to one passenger. March 19 A youth picked by the National investigating Agency of India has reportedly died in the Police custody in the intervening night of Monday-Tuesday. Media reports said that the youth is from Awantipora Pulwama and died in Srinagar Kashmir where he was lodged in a CARGO camp of (SOG) Jammu Kashmir police. MeT Predicts Rains, Snow for the Next 24 Hours

March 19 The local meteorological department Monday predicted snow rains in Kashmir in next 24 hours. A fresh western disturbance is approaching the Himalayas and under its influence rains will commence over the state from March 19 onwards, a meteorological department official said here. “There are likely chances of light rain/snow at isolated places over the state during next 24 hours,” the official said.
