Massive Search Operation Launched in Kulgam Area

KULGAM
March 14 The Government Forces have launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in the Bugam area of South Kashmir's Kulgam District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Thursday evening, RR of Indian Army, 18 BN of CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched a search operation in the area around Bugam. 60 year old Man shot at in Islamabad (anantnag), Injured

March 14 A sixty year old man was injured after he was shot at by unidentified Gunmen  at Thajiwara area of Bijbehara area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Thursday evening, unknown gunmen shot Mohammed Ismail aged 60, at Thajeewara Bijbehara. Ismail was immediately rushed to Bijbehara hospital for treatment from where he has been referred to Srinagar’s SMHS hospital for specialized treatment. Mohammed Ismail, as per media reports, is affiliated with National Conference.

March 14 In a major boost to tackling spread of fake news, the Kozhikode sub-court II ordered Sudarshan TV Channel Founder Suresh Chavhanke to pay a compensation of Rs 50 lakh to Malabar Gold - the diamond company run by M.P. Ahammed. Malabar Gold had filed a defamation case against Sudarshan TV and its founder editor Suresh Chavhanke for airing a morphed visuals and fake news back in 2016. March 14 The Jammu Kashmir High Court has stayed proceedings against Arnab Goswami, Republic TV editor-in-chief and three other Republic reporters in a defamation complaint filed against them by People’s Democratic Party leader Nayeem Akhtar in 2018. March 14 The Indian External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj on Thursday challenged Imran Khan, the Pakistani prime minister, saying that if he wants peace then he should hand over Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar to India.
