Schools, Colleges Reopen in Kashmir Valley After Long Winter-Break

March 11 The family of Myser Ahmed Khan, An alleged key conspirator of the Pulwama attack has said that he is not among the Militants Killed in the Tral encounter, Sources told The Kashmiriyat. Hindu Dalit Woman Chairs Pakistan Senate Session on Women’s Day

March 09 Krishna Kumari Kohli, Pakistan's first female senator from the Hindu Dalit community, on Friday chaired the session of the Upper House of Parliament on occasion of International Women's Day. Krishna, 40, was elected as senator in March 2018 after spending many years working for the rights of bonded labourers in Muslim-majority Pakistan. She is the first Thari Hindu woman to be elected to the Pakistan senate. Vehicle With 1000 Kilo Explosives ceased in Calcutta

March 09 A Huge quantity of explosive substances were seized from a vehicle in Chitpur area of the city, a senior Kolkata Police officer said on Saturday, NDTV reported. On Saturday, the Police acting upon a tip-off, intercepted a vehicle near Tala bridge on the BT Road in the capital of West Bengal in the wee hours of Saturday and seized 27 bags containing about 1,000 kg of potassium nitrate,the police officer said. Potassium nitrate is used in making explosives. Two persons - the driver and his helper have been arrested, he said. "The vehicle was coming from Odisha and was heading towards North 24 Parganas district. We have arrested the driver and the helper of the goods vehicle," the officer added.
