Jaish e Muhammad Gained Ground After Creation of ‘Afzal Guru Squad,’ Maximum Youth Recruited from Pulwama

March 27 Kashmir based Militants groups Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e- Mohammed (JeM) recruited the most number of locals from Jammu Kashmir’s Pulwama both in 2018 and in 2019, according to a report prepared by security agencies. The report accessed by Hindustan times reveals that 43 Locals were recruited from South Kashmir's Pulwama District in the last year which included Adil Ahmed Dar, who rammed his car into a CRPF convoy killed 49 troopers on February 14. The report further adds that the main accused behind the Pulwama attack were Pakistani nationals Rashid Ghazi alias Kamran and Farhad Butt who were killed during an Encounter on February 17 in Pulwama. At least six Militants Appear in Shopian’s Nazneenpora, Offer Gun Salute to Slain Colleague

March 26 Panic gripped Nazneenpora area of South Kashmir's Shopian district on Tuesday as intensive firing was heard in the area. March 26 Following specific inputs about Militant movement, The Government Forces on Tuesday launched Cordon and Search operations in Pulwama's Ruhmoo area Officials told The Kashmiriyat that a search operation has been launched by 55 Rastriya Rifles, Jammu Kashmir Police and 181 and 183 BNs CRPF in Ruhmoo area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District. Pulwama’s Bellow Shuts on the Anniversary of Rayees Kaczroo

March 26 The Bellow area in south Kashmir Pulwama district is observing a complete shutdown on Tuesday on the death anniversary of a Local Militant, Shahbaz Ahmed Wani alias Rayees Kachroo. Rayees was killed in an encounter with Government Forces in padgampora area of Awantipora in Pulwama on 26 March in  2017 along with his associate, Farooq Ahmed Hura of Nazneenpora in Shopian district.
