Four Early Mourning CASOs Launched By Forces in Kashmir

March 26 Following specific inputs about Militant movement, The Government Forces on Tuesday morning launched Cordon and Search operations in four areas of the Kashmir valley. Officials told The Kashmiriyat that a search operation has been launched by Rastriya Rifles, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF in Mandajan area of South Kashmir's Shopian. All the entry and exit points of the area have been sealed on Tuesday morning. A door to door search operation has begun, Locals told The Kashmiriyat. Flash floods Hit Iran- At least 19 Killed

March 26 Flash floods in southern Iran have killed at least 19 people and injured at least 100 more, officials say. Dramatic footage on social media showed torrents of muddy water surging through the city of Shiraz where most of the deaths occurred. People were seen clinging to lamp posts and the tops of cars. Hundreds of buildings were reported damaged Iran's judiciary said the government's handling of the disaster was being investigated. March 26 Shabir Khan Government forces in a pre-dawn raid on Tuesday arrested at least seven youths from north Kashmir’s Sopore on charges of stone-pelting. March 25 According to a study by the Stanford University titled (of Blackouts and Bandhs): The Strategy and Structure of Disconnected Protest in India shows that most of the blackouts have happened in Kashmir as India witnessed 134 network shutdowns in 2018 alone and more than 100 in 2016-17. The study found that approximately half of the world’s known network shutdowns have happened in India alone, mostly in Kashmir. It also shows that these shutdowns are neither executed on the national level nor concentrated in a single state. Internet shutdowns are as decentralized as state power, it then comes to appear. March 25 Following a specific input about Militant movement, the Government Forces jointly launched a cordon and search operation in the Mir Mohalla area of Arwani in South Kashmir's Islamabad (anantnag) district. On Monday morning, the forces including RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir police sealed all the entry and exit points to the Arwani area. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this locality and are conducting a search operation in the area. Youth in large numbers hit the streets as soon as the search operation started. The forces fired tear smoke shells and pellets to disperse the protesting youth. However, the clashes were going on.
