ISIS Claims Responsibility for Sri Lanka Blasts

April 23 The Islamic State on Tuesday claimed responsibility for the Easter Sunday bombings in Sri Lanka that left 321 people dead. A statement on the Amaq news agency, which the group uses to put out statements, claimed that the attack was the work of “fighters of the Islamic State”. The group did not provide any evidence to support the claim, the Guardian reported. April 23 “A mixture of gau mutr (cow urine) and other cow products cured my cancer,” said BJP candidate from Bhopal Lok Sabha constituency Sadhvi Pragya. April 23 Four youth have been injured as forces fired tear smoke shells and pellets at the youth who were holding protests against the elections in South Kashmir's Islamabad (anantnag) area. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that four youth have sustained pellet injuries during intense clashes that erupted in Dehruna area of Dialgam in South Kashmir's Islamabad (anantnag) district. They said that one of them has been shifted to District hospital of Islamabad (anantnag) in Janglat Mandi while three were treated locally. Hospital Sources in DH Islamabad (anantnag) confirmed the identity of the youth as Adil Rashid Malik son of Abdul Rashid Malik. He has sustained pellet injuries on his face and throat.
