ISIS Claims Responsibility for Sri Lanka Blasts

April 23 The Islamic State on Tuesday claimed responsibility for the Easter Sunday bombings in Sri Lanka that left 321 people dead. A statement on the Amaq news agency, which the group uses to put out statements, claimed that the attack was the work of “fighters of the Islamic State”. April 23 Four youth have been injured as forces fired tear smoke shells and pellets at the youth who were holding protests against the elections in South Kashmir's Islamabad (anantnag) area.
