Intense Clashes Erupt in Kulgam Area During CASO

April 05 Following a specific input about Militant movement, the Government Forces jointly launched a cordon and search operation in the Pooniwah area of South Kashmir's Kulgam district. On Friday afternoon, the forces including 9 RR of Indian Army, 18 BN of CRPF and Jammu Kashmir police sealed all the entry and exit points to the Pooniwah area. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this locality and are conducting a search operation in the area. April 05 Mohammed Umer The Jammu Kashmir Government on Thursday booked a senior Hurriyat leader under Public Safety Act (PSA) in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
