Four Killed in Pakistan as India and Pakistan Exchange Fire in Kashmir

April 02 Three Pakistan army troopers and one civilian and five other civilians injured have been killed in alleged ceasefire violation by Indian troops along the Line of Control in Rakhchakri and Rawalakot Sectors, Pakistan said on Tuesday Pakistan foreign Office Spokesperson tweeted that “Indian troops resorted to unprovoked fire in Rakhchakri, Rawalakot Sector along Line of Control (LOC).” He said that three army personnel were killed. “Subedar Muhammad Riyaz, Lance Havaldar Aziz Ullah and Sepoy Shahid Mansib embraced Shahadat, while one soldier got injured.” He said that the Pakistan army responded effectively.

Plea Challenging Article 370 to be Heard in the Supreme Court Today

April 02 The Supreme Court of India will hera the pleas challenging the special status of Jammu Kashmir on Tuesday. Media reports suggest that the case is listed at item number 5 in the miscellaneous list of April 2 before a bench comprising Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Justice Deepak Gupta and Justice Sanjiv Khanna. Pakistani F16 Jets Detected Near Punjab Border

April 01 The Indian Air Force scrambled its top fighter jets to intercept four Pakistani fighter jets that were flying close to the international border near Punjab, India Today reported. It's unclear if the Pakistani jets were trying to intrude into Indian airspace, with sources saying that the Pakistani fighters were flying with a surveillance drone with the possible aim of detecting Indian troop deployment near the border.
