Encounter Rages in Kashmir’s Kulgam

May 29 An encounter has raged between militants and Government forces at Tarzoo area of in Mohammad pora area of South Kashmir's Kulgam District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a team of 9 RR, jammu kashmir police and 18 BN of CRPF was fired upon by Militants in the Mohammad pora area, after which the Army retaliated to the firing. The Forces retaliated and the exchange of fire triggering an encounter, Officials told The Kashmiriyat that two to three Militants are believed to be trapped at the site of the encounter, while the firing at the encounter site is still going on. Gunshots Heard During CASO in Kulgam

May 29 A few Gunshots have been heard during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Zangalpora area of South Kashmir's Kulgam District. Reports reaching to The Kashmiriyat said that a joint team of Army RR, CRPF and Special Operation Group (SOG) the area. A police Source Confirmed the incident and said that the cordon was launched following inputs about the Movement of some suspected militants. Unknown Gunmen fire at Civilian in Sopore

May 28 Shabir Khan Unknown gunmen on Tuesday evening shot a civilian in Zaloora area of Sopore in North Kashmir's Baramulla District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that unknown gunmen injured a civilian by firing at him in Sopore area. The injured man was rushed to SDH Handwara where he is being treated. Nobody Raped Bandipora Minor- Kashmir Never Asked for Investigation

The medical report of a three-year-old girl, who was alleged to have been raped in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district, has found insufficient evidence to confirm sexual assault, officials said today.
