Schools Shut Along LOC in Poonch As Armies of Pakistan and India Exchange Gunfire

May 02 Following the exchange of gunfire between the armies of India and Pakistan along the Line of control in Kashmir, that divides Kashmir between India and Pakistan the District Magistrate Poonch has ordered that all Schools of Kerni Sector. As per the official notice all schools have been advised to shut down on Thursday following the violation of ceasefire by Pakistan after firing with small arms followed by Shelling with Mortars. Officials on the Indian side claimed that Pakistan had violated the ceasefire along the Kerni sector to which Indian Army responded befittingly.

May 02 On Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid homage to those who died in the Naxal attack in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra and said that the sacrifice of the 15 police personnel will be avenged by killing at least 100 Naxals. "This is a battle of the entire country and 130 crore countrymen are with our brave jawans," he said in an election rally in the state. "Our 15 jawans sacrificed their lives but in return, we will kill at least 100 Naxals," he further added. At least 16 persons, including 15 security personnel, were killed in an IED blast triggered by Naxals in Gadchiroli district. May 02 The Deputy Commissioner for Islamabad (anantnag), Khalid Jahangir has sanctioned Rs 320000 as financial assistance to persons who were injured in the road accidents on the polling day in the district on 23 April 2019 at Zalangam, Sagam and Buchoo area of Kokernag in this South Kashmir district. Three injured persons, as per an official press release, have been provided Rs 20,000 each and 26 other injured were given Rs 10,000 each out of Red Cross Fund for medical treatment.

23 Youth have Joined Militancy in First Four Months of 2019

May 01 The Militant recruitment has come down manifold as claimed by Indian Security agencies.
