May 28 A Muslim youth was told to go to Pakistan and shot at in Begusarai district of Bihar. Police, however, claimed that Mohammad Qasim, a vendor who goes around on his two-wheeler selling household goods in the rural areas, was shot at on Saturday because of a dispute over payment for his wares. Qasim, being treated at a hospital in Begusarai, said he knew his attacker. “I was at Kumbi (village) in front of a paan shop. A man named Rajiv Yadav shot me. He asked my name. I said, ‘Mohammad Qasim’. He abused me, called me a miyan (Muslim), asked what I was doing here when I should be in Pakistan, and shot me in the back. Second Militant Killed in Kachwan Encounter- Search Operation Continues

May 28 Two Militants have been killed in the encounter between militants and Government forces at Kachwan area in Kokernag belt of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District. Officials told The Kashmiriyat  that a team of 19 RR,Jammu Kashmir Police was fired upon by Militants in the Kachwan area, after which the Army retaliated to the firing. The Forces retaliated and the exchange of fire in which two Militant have been killed, while the firing at the encounter site is still going on. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the firing started around 1330 PM is still going on. Meanwhile Internet Services have been snapped in Islamabad (anantnag) district of South Kashmir. May 27 The Southern part of Kashmir including Pulwama, Kulgam, Shopian and Islamabad (anantnag) has shut down for the fourth consecutive day to mourn the killing of Zakir Musa. Educational institutes, Mobile internet services, Oil Stations and business establishments are shut against the killing of Zakir Musa on Friday. The Kashmiriyat was informed that traffic is off the roads, while business establishments are also shut. Hundreds of people are still visiting the house of Slain Zakir Musa in Noorpora Tral.

May 26 In his last video, Zakir Rashid Bhat alias Musa shot likely a few minutes ahead of the encounter that raged in Dadasara area of Tral in South Kashmir's Pulwama District. In this video, which is clicked at the house in which Zakir Musa, India's most wanted Militant commander in Kashmir was killed after a fierce gunfight of 11 hours, the house was later burnt down to ashes. "I bid farewell to you all, now it is my time to die, i bid farewell to my nation, strikes surely are no way to end this conflict, but only fighting is," Zakir is heard saying this short video. The clip is doing rounds on social media and has already gone viral.
