May 26 Streets in South Kashmir wore a deserted look throughout the day, with thin movement of traffic on the streets and Government Force personnel deployed in the main towns to prevent any sort of "law and order" situation. May 26 Faisal Bashir Locals of Dharmuna in Budgam district on Sunday held a protest demonstration against the arrest of seven teenage boys by Government Forces during a protest against the killing of Zakir Musa on Thursday. May 26 In yet another attack on freedom of press, the Government Force personnel on Sunday morning assaulted a journalist near Islamia College in Srinagar's Hawal area. Speaking to The Kashmiriyat Adil Hussain, a journalist working with Kashmir Thunder said that the CRPF men rounded him near the Islamia College near Hawal and thrashed without any provocation. "I even displayed my press identity card to the CRPF men, but they abused me and started beating me," Adil told The Kashmiriyat, adding that he tried to make them understand that he was working with media, but they continued abusing and thrashing me. May 26 Clashes have erupted in the Soura area of Srinagar on Sunday to protest the killing of prominent Militant commander, Zakir Musa, amid a ban on Mobile internet services in most parts of the Kashmir valley.
