May 24 To protest the killing of Zakir Musa, Slain Militant commander, intense clashes have erupt in parts of Srinagar city on Friday evening, amid a complete ban on Mobile internet services. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that clashes have erupted in Saraf Kadal, Nawa Kadal, Nowhatta, Eid- Gah areas of Srinagar as hundreds of youth hit the streets shouting Pro Zakir Musa and Pro independence slogans. The Forces deployed in the area fired tear smoke shells to disperse the youth, however the clashes were going on when this report was filed. Reports reaching The Kashmiriyat said that intense clashes erupted in Dooru area when people in large numbers tried to take out a procession to mourn the killing of Zakir Musa, however the Forces present in the area fired tear gas shells at the protesters. May 24 The firing at  Badipora Locality of Dadasra area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District has stopped after Forces set ablaze the house in which Militants were initially trapped. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a house in which Zakir Musa was believed to be trapped alone, was burnt down, however firing had  restarted from another nearby house in the area. An Army official upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat said that the encounter has entered it's last leg.
