Amid the covoid 19 lockdown, the Government of India has notified rules for the domicile law that was passed on the night of 31 March. The late night order laid down the procedures for non-locals from other states to obtain permanent citizenship  in Jammu Kashmir. The order states that Non-locals can now apply for domicile certificates under this new law and become eligible for rights to ownership of immovable property and government jobs across Jammu Kashmir. 22 year old Lady commits suicide in Achabal

Waris Shah A 22-year-old lady allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself inside her home at Trahpoo village of Achabal in Islamabad (Anantnag) district of south Kashmir on friday Evening. An official upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat said that she was shifted to nearby Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
